What is a channel?
“Channels” refer to the messaging apps that you can connect to Lime Connect: Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, SMS or any custom channel. The WhatsApp channel is available from our Team plan onwards.
On how many websites can I implement the Website Messenger (chat window)?
You can implement your configurated chat window on as many websites and pages as you like. If you want different designs and chat behaviors for different website pages, then you need to configure multiple chat windows.
Do I need seats for administrators that don’t chat?
We do not distinguish between types of users, so you do also need seats for operators that don’t engage in customer conversations.
Are there extra costs related to WhatsApp Business?
Support messages are free of charge – if you answer within 24 hours. If you answer later, this counts as a proactive message (opening a new “support window”).
For proactive messages – like newsletters and status updates – you pay a Meta fee per message + a monthly Lime Connect add-on fee. (WhatsApp Campaigns add-on, 39 Euro/month). If you send less than 100 proactive messages, you don’t need the WhatsApp Campaigns add-on. 100 proactive messages are included in the Team package.
Can I use the same number for WhatsApp support (channel) and WhatsApp campaigns (add-on)?
Yes, with Lime Connect you can keep using the same WhatsApp number for support requests and for campaigns. You can activate this option in your WhatsApp campaigns channel settings. If enabled, your customers will be asked to choose whether they want to subscribe to your campaigns channel or want to chat with customer support.
From which plan can I add the AI Automation Hub?
Starting from the Team plan, you can book the AI Automation Hub as an add-on.
How are the costs for the AI Automation Hub calculated?
The costs depend on the number of monthly chatbot or form suggest interactions:
100 conversations – €180/month
250 conversations – €375/month
500 conversations – €485/month

Is billing based on each bot message or each bot conversation?
Billing is per conversation. A conversation counts as a complete chatbot interaction – you do not pay per individual message. One conversation includes all messages send between human and bot in one unique server session.
What happens if I exceed my monthly conversation limit?
If you exceed your monthly conversation limit, there’s no need to worry. We use a fair system where unused sessions from quieter months can be carried over to months with above-average demand.
Example: If you book a package with 500 conversations per month, you have a total annual allowance of 6,000 conversations. You can distribute these across the 12 months as you wish. E.g. if your peak season is from October to April, the bot could handle 600–700 conversations per month during that time, and 220–360 in summer, without incurring extra fees.
Your total allowance only expires at the end of your contract term and will then reset.
What’s the difference between the free trial and the free plan?
When you sign up, you start with our standard, 14-day free trial. This trial offers you the premium features from our Corporate plan. Just get in touch with us if you’d like to test features from the higher plans. After this free trial, your account automatically switches to the Free plan. This way you can test Lime Connect without any risk and you will be able to continue to offer support after your trial without any hiccups. But your feature set will be limited to the core features described above.

Can I test all the features in a free trial?
Our free trial offers you the premium features from our Corporate plan, so it offers you many advanced features, but not all of them. We can set you up with a trial that includes features from the Flex plan. Just get in touch with us.
