A new chapter: Userlike becomes Lime Connect

Pascal

Fifteen years ago, we started Userlike with a simple idea:
Make it easier for businesses and customers to talk to each other.

It began as a small chat box for websites. Over the years, it became a leading all-in-one platform – powering millions of conversations between businesses and their customers.

From global brands such as Toyota and Nivea to startups finding their first customers. Each conversation has been part of the story that brought us here.

The name Userlike has been with us through all of it. It’s part of our story, and for many of you, part of yours as well.

That’s why today feels significant:

We’re changing our name to Lime Connect.

I want to give you some personal context. Why this is happening, what it means for you, and why we believe it’s an important step forward for everyone we serve.

Background story

In 2021, we became part of Lime Technologies, a leading provider of CRM and customer experience solutions in the Nordics.

Our first photo together after the acquisition in April 2021. Taken outdoors during the pandemic, with the slightly awkward distancing that came with it.

We didn’t rush into rebranding. Over the past four years, we’ve worked closely together, sharing expertise, exchanging ideas and aligning around a shared vision for how customer communication should evolve.

Now, we’re making that connection visible. With a new name, a new look and a stronger shared identity.

But while the brand is changing, our mission stays the same:

Empowering businesses to connect with their customers in smarter, more human ways.

What the name means

We chose the name Lime Connect to express what we’ve always done best: creating connections.

👉 Connections between businesses and customers.

👉 Between questions and answers.

👉 Between technology and human service.

It also connects (🥁) us more clearly to the Lime brand. A group known for their customer-first culture, and software solutions that bring customer data, processes and relationships together in one place.

This name carries our history forward and signals the ambition for where we’re going.

What changes (and what doesn’t)

It’s our identity that’s evolving, not the way we work together. Because continuity is as important to us as it is to you.

 So here’s what isn’t changing

  • You’ll keep working with the same team you know and trust.
  • Your contract, pricing and setting remain exactly the same.
  • You’ll get the same personal service, innovation and support you rely on.
  • We’ll continue integrating with the tools you use every day.

We’ve designed this brand transition to be seamless for you. It’s not about changing direction; it’s about strengthening it.

What’s changing

As of today, a few things will look and feel different because of our new branding:

  • Email sender addresses: Emails from our team will start coming from @lime.tech. Emails sent to our old address will still reach us, but we recommend updating your contact list. Tip: If you use email filters or whitelists, please add the new domain to avoid delivery issues.
  • Branding in the product: You’ll notice our new name and logo inside the platform. Functionality stays the same.

On September 19, there’s a few more technical changes coming related to the new name:

  • Your login will move from app.lime-connect.com to app.lime-connect.com. Redirects will remain in place, so existing links continue to work. If your organization uses IT restrictions such as firewalls or whitelisted domains, you should update them to include app.lime-connect.com. Here’s how you do that.
  • Outgoing emails will be sent from the new @lime-connect.com domain.
  • To continue using our service on mobile, please re-download our app.

What you’ll notice:

  • A new name and visual identity across our website, product, and communications
  • A stronger link to the Lime brand, giving you access to more expertise, ideas, and opportunities
  • More visibility for how our combined strengths can help you in the future.

I’d love to personally introduce you to Lime Connect and give you a chance to ask any questions you may have.

On September 15, I’ll be joined by Nils Olsson, CEO of Lime Technologies, for a live online Q&A session. Use the chance and sign up now

Looking ahead

Userlike will always be part of our story, but the brand name Lime Connect reflects the company we are today: the same people, with the same mission – now part of something bigger.

Customer communication is evolving faster than ever. Expectations are higher. Conversations happen anywhere, anytime, on any channel. And increasingly, they’re powered by AI.

With Lime Connect, we have the backing, expertise, and vision to help you meet those challenges with confidence. This rebranding isn’t just about a new logo. It’s about positioning ourselves – and you – for the next decade of customer experience.

Thank you

If you’re reading this, you’re part of the reason we’re here!

Your feedback and trust have shaped the product we’ve built, and the company we’ve become. We’re deeply grateful for that, and I want to sincerely thank you for being with us on this journey.

We’re proud of everything we’ve accomplished as Userlike. And even more excited about what’s ahead as Lime Connect.

Let’s go.
